Ad Astra
What does it mean to be a man in the 21st century? What kind of heritage we have to carry on? What are the sacrifices we must make in our lives? The philosophical science fiction of director James Gray searches for the answers.
This socially and philosophically conscious science fiction tells the story of an astronaut called Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) who struggles with the memory of his father. One day he realizes that his father (presumably dead since long ago) may have been living all this time, and perhaps he is responsible for the electric storms that are threatening our planet with extinction. So Roy travels to the end of the Solar System in order to find his lost father and save the Earth.

Ad Astra, which debuted with success this year at the Venice Film Festival is a spectacular, emotional and intelligent film, offering the audience a unique and memorable cinema experience.
